Yummy Salad

I made this salad for dinner last night & I liked it alot. Instead of using dressing I used cottage cheese, it was pretty good. I filled my plate with spinach, put cottage cheese over it, then cut up tomato, mushrooms, and green onion and put it over top. Then I cut up two hard boiled eggs and put some imitation crab over top.

Life

These are some random thoughts that are racing through my mind. ..
Us "canada & usa" people live a sweet life. We have so much. . and then there are familes in africa that are living hell. and then there are phillipines that get shipped in on a 2 year term to work, but when that 2 years is up they go back to the philipines, their not welcome here. and whats the point of working and trying to make the most money you can. in the end u just die anyway so who cares.

WoW

Wow, I am really depressed! Back at Paces & Cal finishing up my stuff for Grad. I miss being at the college so much! I just loved working on cars everyday and flirting with Connor and hanging out with all my friends up there and having freedom. Now I am back in reg dumb school where you have to listen to the teacher and follow the bell school. You just dont have freedom it sucks! But I am hoping to be done in 4 weeks or so. It wont take me long to finish whats gotta get done. Next week I am going to Van on the 21st, then coming back on the 23rd for the Skills Canada Competition. I cant wait to go shopping! Then 24th to 26th I am going camping. Gonna rig up my truck to have lights for my trailer. My old truck has the exact same connectors as my trailer so I have to go take them off it before I haul it away. I just cant wait!

Skills Canada Competition

Today at College there was an inter provincial competition for all different trades for high school students. They had a competition for carpentry, culinary arts, automotive and welding. I did the automotive competition and beat the guys buts! Won first place. If I want I have a free trip to Abbotsford to compete against the other first winners!

MMMMMM

So I woke up this morning and made a homeade quiche. I cut up red pepper, broccoli, onion, tomato, and cheese. Pulled the flour outa the cupboard and made pie crust. It was really delicous and ready just before it was time to go to Church. Of course Isaiah didnt eat any! He has hardly eaten anything in the last two days. He has croupe cough so we are staying in. Grandpa watched him while I went to church today.
I am really hoping tomorow morning he is good because I have to get my engine and tranny pulled out and my starter and go to kitimat and put the starter in my new truck and drive it back. I have alot of work to do and less than 2 weeks to finish!

Yay New Truck!

So I found another truck same as mine but different! Connor, Nick & I drove to Kitimat with Isaiah after school today. We looked at it and its really funny. The paint isnt peeled much in comparison to mine and the frame isnt as bad. It has a canopy too, so now I will have two! 3/4 light duty, long box, extended cab. Even had the same seats as my old one before I sold them in trade for Connors old seats and a bit of extra cash! Needs some work on the tranny but i will just trade my standard tranny for an automatic and put it in. Also needs new brake lines but the one in my crash truck are prime. Now lets just hope I have enough time in the next two weeks to take the engine and tranny n scrap my crash truck and put a tranny in the new truck! On the way back before the airport it started snowing so I almost had a panic attack and pulled over and made Connor drive because I was freaking about the airport hill. Every corner that is on a bank, no matter how slow or fast I am going I just envision going over and it freaks me out. I need to get over this fear now but it may take awhile. On my way to school this morning Isaiah was telling me "Mommy, no trees." So cute.

Thank You Jesus!

Yesterday morning I was driving to school at 830, going down the big hill on old lakelse lake road. I braked at the one corner to slow down, and it was really icy i slid right over the bank, hit a tree and rolled. My sled flew out, bent the skis.. I called my dad, and he came and his friend threw a rope down and pulled me up, my dad got isaiah. Ambulance, fire dept, and tow truck came. The second I knew I was going down, I prayed. Isaiah did not have a scratch on him. I had a little scrape and bruise from my leg because it was stuck for a minute. My neck is a bit sore this morning and I was talking to Isaiah and he said his neck is sore too. I am so thankful it was not worse. I could not imagine losing my boy. The truck is toast. I am parting it out. It is really sad, I have had that truck less than my durango and I have alot of good memories with it. All well, Connor will have to help me find a new truck! The durango is gone. Getting $600 a month for 10 months for it. I am driving a Windstar this week. Has 4 car seats in it. Kinda embarssing because minivans are not my thing. They are the worst to drive. But its better than nothing!

Phone Call & Goodbye Durango

Recieved a phone call yesterday from Canada's Worst Driver. Guess I will have to wait and see if I am going to Toronto.

Pretty sure my Durango is sold tomorow. Finished a wheel alignment on it today, doing an oil change tomorow and she will probably be gone at 12. Sad.. I really love her but if I am driving a gas guzzler I would much rather it be a pick up.

I am house sitting for a week or two. Its really nice to be on my own! They have alot of toys here too because they have 3 kids so Isaiah is enjoying himself!

Woot Woot

So my laptop power cord stopped working awhile ago so I called dell to get it fixed because my laptop is still under warranty. Anyway they wanted the whole laptop sent. So it took about a week to send my laptop away n get it back. Before I sent if off I accidently dropped it and cracked a piece on my laptop, anyway when I got it back they replaced it! Awesome!!!!

Nominated!

So I got nominated for Canada's worst driver and they are calling the person that nominated me and they are calling me within the next few weeks. This might mean a free trip to Toronto haha! And I would be on tv!

Rest in Peace Shawny

My friend Shawn moved up to Telegraph awhile ago with his girlfriend. He shot himself in the head today or yesterday. I will always remember him, he taught me how to dirtbike and we used to have alot of fun riding before I became a mommy. Miss you Shawn!

Shoulda picked welding?

We started welding this monday and finish tomorrow. Its pretty fun. I was soo freaking scared at first tho. I kept thinking id blow the place up with acetylene. Anyway all my welding buddies have been helping me out, and Ive only done 3 welds so far but my friends say they are pretty good considering they were my first. I was pretty proud of my second one even though its not perfect. As much as I love automotive I wish I was in the welding class though because I am buddies with alot of the welders and I hate my whole class. Theyre all ignorant. Today they pissed me off so bad that I started crying. They hid my cellphone on me and put it on silent so I couldnt find it and when I asked them if they seen it they said no and seemed so serious. Then later after lunch my welding gloves and helmet were missing and I knew somone in my class took it so I asked them all and they all denied it so I freaked out and went and told my teacher and he asked everyone and they still denied it but I wasnt stupid, I knew one of them took it. I was pissed, then left the welding shop and hung out with my Heavy Duty friends then looked around the shop for my stuff and finally found it. After 45 minutes of wasted time I went back in the welding shop. I am thinking of taking welding in a few months, joining the night class. It goes from 3-9 and Isaiahs Great Auntie Erika, who is only 21 is in it. The night class is alot farther than the afternoon class too and they started a month later so I would have an advantage then. The welding course is self paced so I could finish whatever I hav e left to do next September.

I miss Robin. She was a brave old soul, especially to try and eat wasabi on a cracker, a chicken foot, dog food, and whatever else is in the picture.
