I had Isaiah weighed today which I havent done for a couple months! My boy weighed 16lbs 7oz. Hes getting big!

Kitimat

I went to Kitimat last nite with my friend Steph. When we drove there the roads were dry, no snow or ice. I was behind a line of 4 or 5 cars and the guy behind me decided he was going to pass. He was paralell to me when a semi and another truck came around the corner so I had to break harshley for him to get by! I was so annoyed by his stupidity! We got there, we hung out with friends for a bit then went out for dinner. It was harshly snowing the whole time. After that I dropped some of my friends off and right infront of the one apartment someone had gotten in an accident a couple minutes before we approached. Everyone was fine, and the only damage was a busted frontlight. Pretty sure it was from the roads being extremly slippery! Then me and Steph headed back to Terrace. I drove between 60 and 80 the whole time because the roads were so bad! I could hardly see. Two vechiles within a 10 - 15 minute distance had their hazards on so I knew to be really careful. As I was coming down Onion lake hill their was a Semi over the bank. His trailer was on the road, but the Cab was over the bank in the trees. I hope he was okay! But before I passed him I tried to slow more down (I was only going 50) and I started sliding, and there was a plow pulled over to guide traffic, and I wasnt too far from him. It scared me!

when i was leaving school, one of the girls asked me if i knew where naomi (mats mom)was staying and i was like how do you know her and shes like mat is katrinas dad. and i was like for sure? you guys didnt use a condom? and shes like i dont know i was really drunk, but when she was first born she looked alot like him

My boy's got a black eye!

It was Isaiahs first day at daycare this morning, and lunch time when I walked in the door he started crawling down this soft toy thing that you play on and he did a faceplant into a toy and got a black eye! Poor kid.

Skiing

Wednesday all my friends from Kitimat were going skiing, so I decided to go up & I hauled Josh along with me. It was his 3rd or 4th time skiing in his life, but first time at Shames I think. He is pretty good for a newbie! I went a medium speed because I brought Isaiah with me and didnt want to risk falling with him. Josh kept up with me the whole time. The sun was shining and it was so beautiful!

I will always remember you sitting down on the old arena benches, enjoying watching the kids playing hockey. I loved your camper on the back of your truck you once had, the one with the various license plates of all the states, provinces and territorys, which siesed to amaze me as a kid. I enjoyed walking by your truck to glance at them. I will never forget the awful story when two youngins tried to tip your truck over into the river, while you were inside your camper taking a nap.
Peace be with you Mighty Moe. You were a legend in the small town of Terrace. I hope you had a safe flight up to heaven, and hope you remembered to wear your seatbelt.

Ughhhh

Ok, I was driving home like 20 mins ago and I wasnt even speeding. I was on my street when the snow plow started hauling around this corner, instead of stopping at the STOP sign & creeping to see if anyone was coming! He then forced me into the ditch, luckily I didnt get stuck. It makes me so mad tho! Stupid Loonie Bin Drivers!

The Closest Ive Ever Come 2 Being in a Crash

The roads are bad, and obviously by looking at how much snow we have! I seen one guy do a 180 through an intersection today because he decided last minute he wanted to turn and hammed on the breaks. Another time today I was in an intersection, the light then turned yellow. I had the right away to turn, but instead some guy ran the light right when I started turning. Scared the crap outa me. But even worse I was driving up the hill at a decent speed for the roads when some lady started turning out infront of me, and not looking to see if any cars like me where coming! I slammed on my breaks and it is quite astonishing that we did not crash! If I had 1 second less of reaction time we would have. We were so close, I wouldnt have been able to fit inbetween the two cars. Some people are so moronic!

Menu Plan Monday

Seems like everyone has been doing MPM. I am not going to join, but I will share what I made so far this week, and plan on making tonite & the next two lol.

Monday - Chicken Barley Soup with Sweet Potatoe (I made it up & it was delicious)
Tuesday - I wasnt here, but looks like the family had chicken breasts.
Wednesday - Spaghetti with a veggie meat sauce.
Thursday - Leftover spaghetti baked in the oven with cheese on top.
Friday - Masala Dal & Basmati Rice
Saturday - Vegetable Stir Fry with Curried Salmon
Sunday - Gwens falafel & homade whole wheat pita

I just booked a train ticket to Smithers on December 14th. It only costs $15 one way. Normally it is around $30 or so in peak season. Im exited to take the train, since I havent taken one since I was quite young & its cheaper & safer than driving! Cant wait!
