This morning I made pancakes for breakfast but I alterd the recipe so it was more healthy :) Here it is:
Dry Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 raw carrot, grounded in blender or food processor
Liquid Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup applesauce
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
Mix dry ingredients and liquid ingredients in seperate bowls, then mix together. Batter is then done!
For a healthier topping than syrop try yogurt with fresh or frozen fruit. Its delicious!
